Fasnacht Day, also known as Fasnacht Parade or simply Fasnacht, is a seasonal public event in Fallout 76. During the event period, it takes place once per hour in Helvetia. To complete the Fasnacht event, you must complete the tasks of five Protectron Marchers and then protect them. The event rewards include various masks and C.A.M.P. items.

Fallout Fasnacht 2024 Date
In 2024, the next Fallout 76 Fasnacht event will take place from June 25 until July 9, 2024. The Fasnacht event will automatically start at the time the Daily challenges reset. This is the second time that the Fasnacht event will take place in 2024. The first time it took place between 13 and 27 February, 2024.
Fallout 76 Fasnacht Start Times & Location
During the event period, the Fasnacht Day event will start every hour at the top of the hour in Helvetia. Once the event pops up, you have 10 minutes to speak to the Master of Ceremonies. This will start the event. You’ll find the Master of Ceremonies somewhere around the bridge crossing the creek that runs through Helvetia.
Fallout 76 Fasnacht Day Walkthrough
Once the Fasnacht Day event starts in Fallout 76, you need to complete the Protectron Marcher’s tasks, defend them, and light the bonfire in the end.
Complete the Protectron Marcher’s Tasks
As soon as the event has started you’ll need to find five Protectron Marchers and complete their tasks. There is a total of eight Protectrons – for each event run, five are assigned randomly. In the following list, you can see which Protectron Marcher has which task:
- Cheerful Beekeeper: Defeat the Honey Beasts at the Honey Haus (usually 3).
- Happy Candlemaker: Donate Beeswax from the Honey Haus hives to the Candlemaker (0/10).
- Gleeful Butcher: Donate Intestines from animals at the Butcher’s Cooler (0/12).
- Jolly Baker: Donate Radtoad Eggs from the stream to the Pantry (0/20).
- Convivial Historian: Bringt Old Fasnacht Steins to the Museum for Analysis (0/10).
- Joyous Musician: Make Music with the Musician (until the bar is full).
- Jubilant Decorator: Help the Decorator with the Barn (0/4).
- Merry Woodsman: Add Wood to the bonfire (0/50).
When a task is completed, the Protectron will walk to the center of Helvetia, equip its Fasnacht mask, and wait for the others.
Defend the Protectron Marchers
Once all tasks are completed and the five Protectrons have met, the Master of Ceremonies joins them as the parade leader and the parade begins. Your task now is to protect the Marchers.
The more Protectrons survive the attacks during the Fasnacht Parade, the better your rewards will be at the end. To heal damaged Protectrons you can use the Friendly Fire perk and a matching weapon like a Shishkebab.
Once the parade reaches Freyja’s Haus, several waves of Radtoads will attack. After that, the parade continues and the Protectron Marchers will cross the bridge and follow the path to the Cheese Haus. There the parade stops again and waves of Super Mutants, Super Mutant Suiciders, and Mutant Hounds will start to attack from all directions.
Once the Super Mutants are down, the parade will go on again, making its way towards the church. The Protectron Marchers will stop there again and be attacked by Vicious Wolves and Stingwings. Also, a legendary Mega Sloth will appear at this location. Don’t be too distracted by the legendary enemy and pay attention that the Wolves and Stingwings don’t kill the Protectrons while everyone is fighting the Mega Sloth.
Light the Bonfire
When you’ve successfully defeated all the Wolves and Stingwings, the last step is to light the bonfire in front of the church. This marks the end of the Fasnacht Event and it’s reward time.

The Fasnacht Default Rewards will stop dropping once you’ve learned the plan. Also, the plans are not player tradable.
