St. Louis, MO (July 2, 2024) – Chanda J. Gerdes, 54, sustained serious injuries in a crash involving three vehicles on Monday, July 1. The incident occurred around 3:46 PM on northbound Interstate 270 north of Dorsett Rd in St. Louis County. According to reports, Gerdes, riding a 2013 Harley Davidson, made an unsafe lane change to the right, striking a 2015 Ford Edge driven by Tracey L. Dorembusch, 57. Gerdes then collided with a 2022 Ford F350 driven by Vicki Archer, 66, in the adjacent lane. Gerdes was transported by Maryland Heights Fire to Mercy St Louis Hospital. Authorities are investigating the circ*mstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
